For those days when you’re stressed tf out, the mornings you wake up on the wrong side of the bed, and the nights your head is going a million miles a minute… 

 

From a somatic + spiritual perspective, the body scan is one of my favorite practices for deepening your sacred connection to your body, helping you get out of overthinking and stress, and allowing you to build self-trust + self-acceptance.

 

From a scientific perspective, this is an incredible tool to regulate the nervous system, lower cortisol, and support with being in the present moment.

 

I use this practice to open many of my group coaching and 1:1 sessions, and also love ending my fitness classes with a bite size version. In other words, I’m kinda obsessed with what’s available for us when we take 10 min to connect with our bodies.
